Empowering a Grassroots Community in the Digital World

The United Muslims of Australia (UMA) is a prominent not-for-profit Islamic organisation dedicated to serving the Muslim community in Australia. However, with a poor online presence the UMA struggled to reach an audience beyond their local community. 

We changed that.

The UMA went from a virtually non-existent online presence, to a social media powerhouse with a combined following of over 90,000 followers by carefully crafting multiple impactful campaigns and projects. From creative direction and filming, to set design and branding, we shared the beauty of Ramadan at the UMA with over 1,500,000 people online. Together we worked on a one of a kind project, a gut-wrenching short film, titled “The Last Sheikh” which supported the ‘future project’, an ambitious project that raised over $150,000 just online. We brought the community together though carefully curated content for the Summer and Winter Camps, Big Youth Nights, educational courses and dozens of community events.
