Museum of Islamic Art Australia
The Museum of Islamic Art Australia is bringing Australia’s first purpose-built Museum of Islamic Art to life in Western Sydney. Think Studio helped introduce this nationally significant vision through its sold-out inaugural Gala Dinner at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, where more than 400 guests witnessed the first public reveal of the museum’s architectural design.
We developed the event identity and shaped the complete guest experience, delivering the marketing campaign, social content, promotional films, and on-ground collateral. We also captured the personal stories of artists and transformed them into a mini-documentary screened on the night, placing their voices and creative journeys at the heart of the experience. Beyond the gala, we designed and developed MIAA’s custom digital home, creating a website that connects audiences with its vision for art, education, belonging, and intercultural understanding. Through event film, photography, and highlight content, we preserved the atmosphere of a defining cultural milestone while helping position MIAA as an important future institution. Our ongoing partnership continues to support its journey from an ambitious vision to a lasting reality.
